About Founder

I am Esther Ezekiel, founder of Olive’s Living Trust, a registered charitable organization dedicated to serving the sick, needy, and forgotten members of our society.
I lost my mother at a very young age, and later, my father as well. Growing up without parents, and caring for my deaf and mute sister, I understood firsthand the emotional and financial pain of living without family support. These personal experiences shaped my compassion and deepened my commitment to help others facing similar hardship. My journey of service began in 2012, using my own earnings and with the help of kind-hearted friends. I started by visiting tribal villages near Chengalpattu, distributing small hygiene kits, food, and school supplies. Witnessing the harsh realities of poverty and illness inspired me to do more.
In 2019, I was encouraged by a fellow trust holder to formally register the organization. That led to the creation of Olive’s Living Trust, allowing us to grow in structure and scale. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we played a vital role in supporting hundreds of daily wage earners, tribal families, and abandoned elders by providing food packets, rice, oil, masks, sanitary pads, and medical essentials with support from friends both in India and abroad.

Our Work Today.
We now serve across 170+ villages in and around Chengalpattu Taluka, including Manapakkam and other tribal and rural communities. Our services include: Hygiene kits: sanitary pads, soaps, undergarments for women and adolescent girls. Food relief: rice, oil, dry groceries, and cooked meals. Clothing & bedding: sarees, dhotis, bedsheets, towels. School support: writing kits, notebooks, and educational supplies for children (especially Class 1 to 5). Color dress materials for Government school children (Wednesday dress code) for approximately 150 students of various sizes. Medical outreach: coordination of local medical camps for the underserved. Support for cancer patients and medical assistance for transgender individuals in need. Emergency medical care: admissions for abandoned or terminally ill individuals. Care for the dying and destitute: offering dignity, shelter, and peace in their final moments. Emotional and elder care: with plans to build a free old-age home. We are supported by a growing group of local youth volunteers, who help us distribute supplies with care and respect.
